The full form of CNG is Compressed Natural Gas and the full form of LPG is Liquefied Petroleum Gas. The names of these two gases tell us clearly the difference between them. LPG gas is a liquid gas and CNG is a natural gas. LPG is made from Propane and CNG is made from Methane.

Haha, Anil Aggarwal hits the nail on the head (or should I say, the gas tank?) with the CNG vs LPG debate! Who knew comparing liquid propane to compressed methane could be so… *pungent*? 😄 Perfectly clear explanation, though – just wish my local CNG station was as easy to find as the author’s wit! Great blogs, keep the gas flowing (metaphorically, of course)!
