What is Hydro Testing?
Hydro testing, also known as a hydrostatic test, is a process for checking the strength and leakage of products that are used to store and pass high-pressure fuels. The products including pressure vessels, pipelines, plumbing, gas cylinders, boilers, and fuel tanks are available in India.
Rules for Hydro Testing
A universal law for hydrostatic tests of these products has been implemented worldwide. The Department of Explosives also known as the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO) is an authorized government body of India for regulating the safety of hazardous substances. The Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO) implemented the hydro testing for CNG Gas cylinders once in 3 years and 20 years as a deadline for CNG gas cylinders.

Notice it
Get your cylinder checked before the end of validity, the date issued by authorized agencies or retro-fitment centers. The validity date will be mentioned on your CNG cylinder.
